policies (command)

List named run policy presets. Policies bundle common gform run flag combinations so you don't memorize them.

CLI overrides policy

Flags you pass on the command line always win:

gform run <form> --policy load --repeat 3 --concurrency 2
gform run <form> --policy safe --headed        # overrides headless default

load policy needs pools

load assumes step pool: values exist so repeats produce distinct fingerprints. Without pools, --skip-duplicates skips most runs. Add pools via edit.md. See repeat.md.

inspect flags vs run policy

gform list --policy fetches live risk flags per form — unrelated to run presets. Don't confuse the two.

gotchas

• safe sets --strict — aborts on invisible captcha flag at preflight.
• demo and watch are headed — need a display (or X forwarding) for the browser window.
• load uses concurrency 5 by default — -C can go higher (up to the worker max of 16).
• Unknown policy name errors at parse time.
